Position: Security - Intelligence Vulnerability Analyst

Location: Quantico, VA

Department: JAPEC

Clearance: Active TOP SECRET with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) access

 

Description

The Intelligence Vulnerability Analyst will:

  • Analyze vulnerabilities and translate this analysis into actionable intelligence;
  • Report on security risks and vulnerabilities in programs;
  • Be accountable for supporting the development and implementation of vulnerability and risk assessments and related processes;
  • Support the appropriate analysis, implementation, and/or execution of the technology protection from a security perspective;
  • Will work collaboratively with the government and business groups to ensure a consistent and integrated approach is applied to product development that aligns to the overall security mandates.
  • This position requires a tenacious individual with strong analytical, communication, problem-solving, and writing skills and a high degree of personal initiative and attention to detail.

 

Key duties/responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Coordinate triage of vulnerability and risk assessment and assist with the collection of requirements;
  • Identify opportunities to improve risk posture, re-mediate or mitigate risks, and assess residual risks;
  • Communicate threat, risk, and vulnerability assessment findings to information system owners, data owners, and/or appropriate partners;
  • Coordinate communication with various resources and provide general support on information security and risk management related issues;
  • Assist with defining scope for security assessments;
  • Conduct All-Source research and Intelligence Analysis;
  • Provide operational insight to procedure definition;
  • Evaluate viability of potential mission protection technologies and concepts;
  • Characterize system threats over multiple operating conditions and environments;
  • Provide analytic insight to potential protection approaches;
  • Develop customer briefings and other documents as necessary, to include: Analytical products and reports;
  • Conduct technical research and summarize findings.

 

Qualifications

  • Active TOP SECRET clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) access required
  • Proficiency in understanding, analyzing and summarizing comprehensive and complex technical, contractual, and research information/data
  • Relevant experience with the DoD or the IC as an All-Source/Security Intelligence Analyst
  • Understanding of threats and security processes
  • Strong interpersonal skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience using targeting / analysis tools
  • Advanced proficiencies with MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint.
